Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has agreed a new three-year contract extension with the club.
The 29-year-old admitted his "delight" at agreeing the terms, and has also hinted that Swansea are the fifth best side in the Premier League.
"I'm delighted that we have agreed the deal. We shook hands on Friday and it's just a case of the club drawing up the paperwork and getting the contract signed," Britton told The Mirror.
"The whole package of the club is great. We play football in a unique way and I think the players appreciate that. If you left Swansea to go to the majority of the other clubs in the Premier League, you wouldn't enjoy it as much – you'd be taking a sideways step.
"The manager and the lads here are fantastic, the training is great and it's a good environment to be part of. You would be silly to leave unless it was one of the top four."
Britton is statistically the most accurate passer in the Premier League.
