Sunderland sign Ki Sung-Yueng on season-long loan

Sunderland complete the signing of South Korean international Ki Sung-Yueng on a season-long loan deal from Swansea City.

Sunderland have completed the signing of Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng on a season-long loan deal.

The 24-year-old becomes Paolo Di Canio's side 11th signing of the summer and will join fellow South Korean international Ji Dong-Won at the Stadium of Light.

Ki joined the Swans last summer for a fee of £6m from Celtic and made 38 appearances for Michael Laudrup's side in all competitions.

The South Korean was not signed in time to play for the Black Cats in their clash with Crystal Palace.
