Preview: Sunderland vs. Reading

Sports Mole previews the Premier League fixtures between Sunderland and Reading at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Sunderland and Reading will be looking to register their first wins of the Premier League campaign when they meet at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

The Black Cats resiliently held Arsenal to a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Wes Brown could make his return to the starting lineup after recovering from a knee injury, although Martin O'Neill may be tempted to name an unchanged team.

It is unlikely that Steven Fletcher will complete his transfer in time to feature, but Louis Saha could be in line for his first start.

The Royals are playing their third game inside a week, following a 1-1 draw with Stoke City on the opening day and a 4-2 defeat to Chelsea on Wednesday.

Jimi Kebe is the only absentee for Brian McDermott, who may take the chance to shuffle his pack after a hectic week back in the top flight.

Sunderland: Mignolet; Brown, Richardson, O'Shea, Cuellar; Larsson, McClean, Cattermole, Colback, Sessegnon; Saha

Reading: Federici; Shorey, Pearce, Gorkss, Harte; McAnuff, Gunnarsson, Guthrie, Karacan; Hunt, Pogrebnyak

Sports Mole says: 2-1
