Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Thomas Ince, despite the winger being close to a move to Hull City.
The 22-year-old is a free agent after his contract with Blackpool came to an end earlier this month and has been targeted by several clubs.
Ince has already turned down a move to Inter Milan, but has held talks with the Tigers and is due to give his answer to the club next week.
However, the Potters are ready to pounce should he reject the move to the KC Stadium, reports the Daily Mail.
Ince spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace and made eight appearances in the Premier League, scoring one goal.
