Stoke City have reportedly joined West Ham United in the hunt for Sampdoria's Pedro Obiang.
The 23-year-old Spaniard featured in Sampdoria's 1-1 draw with Verona on Wednesday evening, with Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes believed to have been in the stands.
According to the Daily Mail, the midfielder, who played his youth career at Atletico Madrid, would be available for £6m.
West Ham are also said to be interested in Obiang, who has been capped for Spain at youth levels.
Obiang has featured 84 times for the Italian club since joining in 2010.
