Team News: Kasper Schmeichel back for Leicester City

Kasper Schmeichel returns between the sticks for Leicester City's trip to Stoke City.

Kasper Schmeichel has returned between the sticks for Leicester City's trip to Stoke City this afternoon.

The keeper returns to the starting XI after six weeks on the sidelines with a fractured hand, with deputy Ron-Robert Zieler dropping back down to the bench.

Manager Claudio Ranieri makes one other change from the side that suffered a 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth in midweek, with Luis Hernandez making way for Danny Simpson, who returns from suspension.

Islam Slimani and Jamie Vardy continue their partnership up front for the Foxes, while Shinji Okazaki is again named among the substitutes.

For the hosts, Mark Hughes makes three changes from the side that were held to a goalless draw against Southampton last time out.

Bojan Krkic comes in to partner Joe Allen as support for lone striker Jonathan Walters after Marko Arnautovic saw red on the south coast.

Meanwhile, Charlie Adam and Xherdan Shaqiri drop to the bench as Mame Biram Diouf and Giannelli Imbula earn recalls in midfield.

Stoke City: Grant; Johnson, Shawcross, Martins Indi; Diouf, Whelan, Imbula, Pieters; Allen, Bojan; Walters
Subs: Given; Bony, Adam, Shaqiri, Crouch, Ramadan, Ngoy

Leicester City: Schmeichel; Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs; Mahrez, King, Amartey, Albrighton; Slimani, Vardy
