Stoke's Jermaine Pennant has said that he is prepared to tackle the tough atmosphere at Goodison Park this afternoon.
Pennant, who spent three seasons with local rivals Liverpool, claims that he is now old enough to know what to expect against eighth-place Everton as the Potters go in search of their first league win on the road since August.
"I've played at Everton a few times now and I have some good memories and some bad memories," he said.
"I'll no doubt get quite a bit of stick from the Evertonians but, of course, that's the case for me at quite a few grounds nowadays! I am 28 and I'm pretty used to it.
"At my age, it doesn't bother me any more one bit. I've been around long enough. All I would say to the fans is: Bring it on!"
Stoke will look to jump ahead of the Toffees in the league standings with a win.
