Jan Vertonghen reveals "a dozen" offers

Jan Vertonghen claims that he has received 12 offers to leave Ajax in the summer.

Ajax centre-back Jan Vertonghen has revealed that he has received "a dozen" offers to leave the Dutch club.

The Belgian international, who is expected to depart Ajax in the near future, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have all been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old, while Barcelona are also believed to be monitoring the situation.

However, Vertonghen has claimed that there are 12 potential suitors that he is currently considering.

"There are a dozen clubs on my list," he told Voetbal International.

Vertonghen joined Ajax as a trainee in 2003.
