Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are both reportedly keeping a close eye on Atalanta BC midfielder Marten de Roon.
The 29-year-old has previous experience of the Premier League, having spent the 2016-17 season with Middlesbrough before returning to Atalanta following the English club's relegation.
The Netherlands international has been a key player for his Italian club over the last four campaigns, and according to 90 min, both Tottenham and Man City are interested in bringing him back to the Premier League.
The report claims that De Roon's performances in last season's Champions League caught the attention of Pep Guardiola's side, who have an interest ahead of next summer's transfer window.
Spurs, meanwhile, have also been mentioned as potential suitors, with head coach Jose Mourinho said to be keen to bring another central midfielder to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
De Roon, who has a contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2024, has scored once in 15 appearances for La Dea during the 2020-21 campaign.
