Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly plotting a January swoop for Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.
The former Ajax man has played the full 90 minutes in three of Juve's last four Serie A games but has not been a consistent starter on a weekly basis under Massimiliano Allegri.
De Ligt is under contract at Juve until the summer of 2024, but Spurs, Manchester City and Barcelona are reportedly all preparing to battle for his signature.
According to Football Insider, Spurs director Fabio Paratici has earmarked De Ligt as an ideal signing for the winter window and is confident that his side can get a deal over the line.
Antonio Conte is believed to have made defensive reinforcements his number one priority in North London, with Inter Milan's Stefan de Vrij also said to be on the Italian's wishlist.
De Ligt has won Serie A and the Coppa Italia with Juventus and has registered six goals in 88 games for the Turin giants.
