Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a summer move for Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz.
Diaz joined Lyon from Madrid in the summer of 2017 and scored 21 times in 45 appearances for the French giants during the 2017-18 campaign.
The striker's form in France led to Los Blancos re-signing the Dominican Republic international last summer, but a disappointing 2018-19 season saw him manage just four goals for the Spanish giants.
According to El Chiringuito, Spurs are interested in a move for Mariano with Madrid expected to sell following the arrivals of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic ahead of the new campaign.
Tottenham are currently short of options in the final third with Fernando Llorente leaving Mauricio Pochettino's side on a free transfer.
As a result, the seemingly unwanted Vincent Janssen is currently the London club's only alternative senior option to Harry Kane in the centre-forward position.
