Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook as a potential summer signing.
Cook enjoyed his breakthrough year with the Cherries during the last campaign, with 29 appearances being made in the Premier League and the 21-year-old earning a debut with England.
Bournemouth handed Cook a new four-year contract but according to the Daily Star, that has not stopped interest from Spurs before the closure of the transfer window.
Spurs are yet to make a first-team signing ahead of the new Premier League season, but manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to be keen on making additions over the next week.
Bournemouth are unlikely to entertain offers for any of their key men so close to the beginning of the top flight, but Spurs are allegedly ready to test their resolve with an offer in the region of £30m.
