Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Napoli.
Spurs paid £23m to sign Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, and the Ivory Coast international went on to make 24 appearances in all competitions.
However, Kieran Trippier's excellent World Cup campaign with England could lead to Mauricio Pochettino opting to select the right-sided defender as his first choice, potentially leaving Aurier to play a bit-part role.
According to the Daily Mail, that could lead to interest from elsewhere as Napoli consider their options ahead of the end of the summer transfer window.
Manchester United's Matteo Darmian has been linked with a switch to Naples, but Aurier has allegedly emerged as a backup option for the Serie A runners-up.
Pochettino is unlikely to want to lose Aurier so close to the start of the season, but academy graduate Kyle Walker-Peters is available to compete for a first-team role should Aurier leave the North London outfit.
