Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly failed with a bid to sign Torino forward Andrea Belotti on a season-long loan deal.
Despite a persistent search for direct competition for Harry Kane, manager Jose Mourinho is yet to bring in backup to the England international.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Premier League giants made contact with Torino regarding the possibility of bringing in their star striker Belotti on a temporary basis, with the option of signing him for £45m in 2021.
However, Torino have informed the North Londoners that they will only consider permanent bids for their most prized asset, who has netted 92 goals across all competitions in five years at the club.
The 26-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract, leaving Torino in no rush to cash in on the Italy international.
