Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a move for Braga striker Paulinho as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options in North London.
Mourinho has voiced his desire to sign another frontman after being forced to play several attackers out of position last season due to Harry Kane's injury.
Spurs are understood to be looking at Watford stalwart Troy Deeney as an ideal signing, with the Lilywhites supposedly put off by Napoli's asking price for Arkadiusz Milik.
Now, 90min reports that Paulinho has emerged as a potential candidate, and the 27-year-old could be available for under £30m, with his contract at Braga set to expire at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Spurs are also believed to be interested in Red Bull Salzburg forward Patson Daka, but the 21-year-old supposedly has no intention of making the switch to North London.
Paulinho notched up 17 goals and seven assists for Braga in the 2019-20 Primeira Liga season.
