Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino suggests that midfielder Josh Onomah could be recalled from his loan spell at Aston Villa.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is giving consideration to recalling Josh Onomah from Aston Villa.

As it stands, Onomah will spend the season on loan at the Championship side, with the England Under-21 international having contributed four goals from 25 appearances in all competitions.

However, with Spurs yet to make any signings during the January transfer window, Pochettino has admitted that he is yet to decide on where Onomah will spend the next four months.

At a press conference, the 45-year-old said: "Josh still continues there but we still have a week or 10 days to decide if he stays or we bring him back here."

Earlier on Friday, Spurs announced that they had allowed young defender Cameron Carter-Vickers to go out on loan to Ipswich Town.
