Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has encouraged his former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Gareth Bale to join him in the Spanish capital.
Modric's fellow Croatian and former ex-Real frontman Davor Suker recently urged Bale to make the switch.
Discussing Suker's opinion, Modric admitted that Welsh international Bale has the ability to represent Madrid.
"I agree he should play for Real Madrid and I hope he'll come," he told BBC Radio Wales. "It would be amazing and I think he can [play for Real Madrid]. He's a good enough player."
Croatian international Modric swapped North London for Los Blancos during the summer transfer window for a fee in the region of £30m.
