The lawyer of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has revealed that the midfielder will remain at Tottenham Hotspur for the rest of the season.
During the summer transfer window, Hojbjerg was regarded as available for the right price, a consequence of his contract having two years left to run and Spurs starting a new era under Ange Postecoglou.
However, a move for the Denmark international did not materialise, and he has since been left to take on a backup role behind other preferred midfield options.
Hojbjerg has still managed to make seven starts and 16 substitute outings in all competitions, but speculation has persisted regarding a transfer.
A wide array of teams have been linked with an approach for the 28-year-old, including Italian giants Juventus and Napoli.

There have been suggestions that a permanent switch or a loan transfer with an option or obligation to buy have all been realistic possibilities.
Nevertheless, speaking to Sky Sport Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg, lawyer Lars Halgreen has ruled out the possibility of Hojbjerg linking up with a new club before Thursday's deadline.
As quoted on X, Plettenburg quotes Halgreen as saying: "Despite rumours and noise the player always kept focus on helping the team, coaches and Tottenham.
"The player never asked to leave now. He's very ambitious for Tottenham and Denmark. Continuing to keep improving himself, like he did all his career.

"He's a strong character and player, his only focus is Tottenham to finish the season well and to help as much as possible. Pierre always liked challenges."
Plettenburg adds that Hojbjerg has taken the decision to reject all offers presented to him, rather than Spurs turning down bids before they reached the player.
Since arriving at Spurs in 2020, Hojbjerg has contributed a total of 10 goals and 16 assists from his 168 appearances in all competitions.
Hojbjerg will hope to feature in the Spurs starting lineup for the meeting with Brentford on Wednesday night, and that is seemingly likely as Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma still on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations.
