Gareth Bale is reportedly seriously considering retiring from football this summer, despite the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid head coach.
The Wales international spent last season on loan with Tottenham Hotspur and is now set to return to the Bernabeu, where he is under contract for another year.
Bale endured a frustrating time of things at Madrid under Zinedine Zidane, but the Frenchman has recently been replaced by Ancelotti, who Bale has a good relationship with.
However, Marca claims that the 31-year-old could hang up his boots after Wales' Euro 2020 campaign, unless something changes over the next few weeks.
Madrid would not stand in Bale's way should he decide to retire as it would save them around €22m (£19m) in wages.
Bale could feature for Wales in Saturday's friendly against Albania at the Cardiff City Stadium.
