Both Spurs and Wigan name expected XIs for the Premier League encounter at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

Both Tottenham Hotspur and Wigan Athletic have gone with their expected XIs for the match at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

Andre Villas-Boas picks the same side that won at Southampton last weekend, although a number of changes have been made to the side that started the league cup tie at Norwich in midweek.

Jermain Defoe continues to lead the line with Emmanuel Adebayor having to endure a prolonged spell on the bench.

For the visitors, Ben Watson comes in for James McArthur in the only change from the last league match against West Ham United.

Wigan have won just two of the last 15 meetings between the two sides.

Spurs: Friedel; Walker, Caulker, Gallas, Vertonghen; Lennon, Sandro, Huddlestone, Bale; Dempsey; Defoe

Wigan: Al Habsi; Boyce, Caldwell, Ramis, Figueroa; Beausejour, Watson, McCarthy, Maloney; Kone, Di Santo
