Harry Redknapp thinks that Tottenham will finish third, despite a run of disappointing results in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp believes that the North London side will keep hold of third place in the Premier League table, despite three successive domestic defeats.

Spurs were recently touted as possible title contenders but are now in danger of dropping down to fourth spot with Arsenal hot on their heels.

"Winning it is difficult," said Redknapp. "You try to finish above teams like Manchester United and Manchester City, who have been there and done it every year.

"Arsenal are in the Champions League every year. So it is a tall order to finish above those teams. But I still think we'll finish third."

Tottenham slumped to a 1-0 defeat against Everton on Saturday and could have only a one-point advantage over their arch rivals Arsenal if the Gunners beat Newcastle United tonight.
