Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has claimed that he is fighting with Manchester City and Manchester United for the services of Lille playmaker Eden Hazard.
The 21-year-old has been a reported transfer target for a number of clubs around Europe, and Redknapp has confirmed that Spurs are keen on clinching the Belgian international's signature.
"Our owner is willing to pay for an exceptional talent, like Eden Hazard," L'Equipe quotes Redknapp as saying.
"I have seen him several times recently in Marseilles [in January] and then also against Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Coupe de France [last May].
"But I also know that Manchester United is looking at him and also Manchester City. It will be difficult to get him, but I like him a lot."
Hazard stated last month that he could make the move to White Hart Lane in the summer.
