Harry Redknapp has revealed that David Bentley could be a shock inclusion in his squad to face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
The 27-year-old midfielder has not featured for the White Hart Lane club since November 2010, spending the second half of last season at Birmingham City before joining West Ham United on loan in the summer.
Bentley only made five appearances for the Hammers before returning to Spurs in October after damaging his knee ligaments.
However, he is now back in training and, with Redknapp short on numbers, may feature at Wembley.
"We haven't got loads of players and looking at the squad, there is every chance David Bentley could be back on the bench. He is in the running," said Redknapp.
"David hasn't even played a game this season. He has been injured since he went to West Ham, but I'm struggling to find seven subs.
"I'm sure by the end of the season he will be back in the squad, or in the team. He is right back in the frame again."
Bentley joined Spurs for £15m in 2008.
