Gareth Bale has revealed that he is impressed by the impact of new Tottenham Hotspur teammate Louis Saha.
The French striker joined Spurs from Everton in a surprise move on transfer deadline day and netted twice on his full debut against Newcastle United on Saturday.
"We all know what he's capable of, we've played against him year after year," Bale told Spurs TV Online.
"He's always been a threat against us and to have him on our team now is a real boost. He's a quality player, scored two goals and thoroughly deserved them.
"He's shown in training already that he's a world class player, he's played at the highest level and we're delighted to have him."
Saha has signed a six-month deal with Spurs, who have an option to extend the deal by a further year.
