Former England international Alan Shearer has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is worth as much as £90m.
Kane scored more Premier League goals than any other player during 2015 and reinforced his importance to Spurs by coming off the bench to score a late equaliser in this afternoon's FA Cup third-round clash with Leicester City.
Before the match, Shearer labelled the England international the "real deal" and believes that clubs should be looking to spend a world-record fee in order to clinch his signature.
"I'm a massive fan of his. If I was the owner or chairman of any club in the world, I'd be telling them to go and get Harry Kane," Shearer told BBC Sport.
"Go and spend £80m or £90m on him. I think he's that good, I really do. He's the real deal."
Kane's goal against Leicester was his 50th for Spurs in his 104th appearance for the club.
