Tottenham Hotspur will look to bounce back from losing at Manchester United on Wednesday with a victory over Burnley in the Premier League this weekend.

A brace from Marcus Rashford condemned Jose Mourinho to his first defeat as Spurs boss on his return to the Theatre of Dreams.

The North London club come up against a resolute Burnley side who will want to move past a 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City on Tuesday.

The captain will not return for some time as he continues to recover from elbow ligament damage sustained against Brighton & Hove Albion in October.

Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Bayern Munich)

The Argentine continues to work towards a full recovery from a thigh injury sustained towards the end of last month, with Mourinho noting last week that the player still needed more time.


Michel Vorm
