Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has hailed his side's character after they came from behind to beat Stevenage last night.
The Boro were ahead inside the opening five minutes at White Hart Lane after winning a spot kick, but the hosts were able to come back and score three answered goals – including a Jermaine Defoe double – to claim an eventual 3-1 win.
"It was a difficult game, just what I expected," said Redknapp. "Stevenage are a well-organised team who work their socks off.
"They have got some real competitors and they got off to a really good start.
"I thought 'this is going to be a hard night' but we came through in the end. Full credit to the lads, they showed good character to come back from 1-0 down."
Spurs take on Bolton Wanderers for a place in the FA semi-final next weekend.
