Preview: Spain vs. Haiti

Sports Mole looks ahead to Saturday's international friendly between Spain and Haiti.

Spain will be looking to boost their preparations for the Confederations Cup with a win when they play Haiti at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami on Saturday.

The World and European champions take on Haiti in the first of two pre-tournament friendlies this week, with the second coming against the Republic of Ireland in New York on Tuesday.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque will use the game to have a look at several members of his squad ahead of their Confederations Cup opener against Brazil on June 16.

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has been ruled out of the squad with a groin injury.

Chelsea trio Fernando Torres, Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata have been selected ahead of the tournament and could feature against Haiti.

The clash will be the first time that the two nations have met.
