Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has said that Filip Djuricic will fit in well at Southampton.
The midfielder, who can play in a number of different positions, has joined the Saints on loan from Benfica until the end of the season, and Koeman has said that he was pleased to bolster his ranks.
"I know the player from Holland," he told the club's official website. "He's a young player - 23 years old, technical, fast.
"He can play in different positions in midfield. He can play on the left side, on the right side and [young players are] part of the philosophy of the club. Our type of football is the best for Djuricic.
"For him it's a good possibility and for us it's one player more who can play in different positions."
Djuricic had been on loan with Mainz 05, but made just 12 appearances for the German outfit before making the switch to Southampton.
