Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew on the effect that the Europa League is having on his team this season: "There is no doubt the Europa League has cost us in the league. It’s the intensity you need from the players to play on a Thursday night, then on the Sunday. You’ve only got to look at the data to know there’s a dip. Unfortunately there’s also going to be a dip mentally as well. But you have to get rid of that feeling and get into Sunday. All these things are impacting on the team. It’s all different to us. It’s all new."
