Ronald Koeman optimistic over Sadio Mane hip injury

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman hopes that winger Sadio Mane will be available for the second leg of the team's Europa League playoff tie after picking up a hip injury.

Ronald Koeman has said that he hopes Sadio Mane will be available to play in the second leg of Southampton's Europa League playoff tie after picking up an injury in the Premier League.

The winger lasted just 23 minutes against Watford, being forced off with a hip injury during the goalless draw at Vicarage Road.

The manager told the club's website: "We have to wait for the reaction to his hip. Hopefully he will be good for Thursday."

Mane has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but Koeman has insisted that he is not for sale.
