Steven N'Zonzi delighted with Sevilla move

Steven N'Zonzi says that Sevilla are the "perfect club" for him, following his move from Stoke City.

New Sevilla signing Steven N'Zonzi has said that he is "very happy" to have joined the La Liga club.

The 26-year-old completed his switch to the Europa League holders from Stoke City on Thursday for a fee of £7m.

"I'm very happy to be at Sevilla," he told the club's official website. "They're a very good team, and so are Stoke, but Sevilla suit my characteristics very well. I've come to grow and Sevilla are the perfect club for me.

"I hope to win something with this shirt. I spoke to my Spanish teammates at Stoke (Bojan Krkic and Marc Muniesa) when I heard about this opportunity, and they only said good things about it.

"What I like about coming here is that [La Liga] is a different competition, but one that I think is best suited to me. I hope to grow and achieve important goals [at Sevilla]."

N'Zonzi made 42 appearances for Stoke last season, scoring four goals.
