Watford striker Ashley Fletcher has agreed to join New York Red Bulls on a loan deal, according to a report.
The 26-year-old has only made three appearances in the Premier League this season, although he has scored twice in the EFL Cup across his two performances in the competition.
According to Football Insider, Fletcher has a deal arranged to join New York Red Bulls on a temporary loan which will see him move to the American club, which would then transition into a four-year deal.
Right now, the striker is under contract with Watford until 2026 after moving to Vicarage Road in July 2021, but he has featured in the top flight for just 27 minutes this season.
New York Red Bulls will commence their Major League Soccer campaign later today when they travel to face the San Jose Earthquakes.
Meanwhile, the Hornets were able to secure a point with Manchester United earlier this afternoon following a goalless draw with the Red Devils.
