Norway youngster Martin Odegaard reportedly has an option to sign a five-year deal with Real Madrid when he turns 16.
Los Blancos may have beaten off competition from the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester United to sign the 15-year-old international.
According to Marca, representatives from the European champions have already offered a contract to the teenager, who turns 16 on December 17, having had a trial with the Spanish side.
Odegaard was rumoured to be having a trial with Premier League runners-up Liverpool before the end of the year.
However, it is thought that if he decides to join Real, the Norwegian forward could remain in his native country to continue his development or be loaned out to another La Liga club.
