Mauro Icardi insists that he will not think about leaving Inter Milan until he has won something with the Italian giants.

Mauro Icardi has insisted that he will not think about leaving Inter Milan until he has won something with the Italian giants.

Icardi joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2013 and has a record of 117 goals in 197 appearances for them in all competitions.

This term, meanwhile, the 25-year-old has managed 10 goals in 15 games.

Real Madrid are among the clubs to be credited with an interest in Icardi, but the Argentine said that 'it was not the right time' to leave Inter when questioned on the reported interest from the Bernabeu.

"I don't think this is the right time, given the results," Icardi told Corriere dello Sport.

"I've always made my goals clear: first, to return to the Champions League with Inter, and we've done that. Second, to win something with Inter. The [sporting] director [Piero Ausilio] has made a good team despite not being able to spend a lot."

Icardi's current deal at San Siro will expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
