Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has quelled fears that he will leave the club at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old has scored 13 goals in 15 league games since joining the Magpies in January, but it had been suggested that Real Madrid were preparing a bid.
Cisse has moved to deny the claims, however, and has insisted that he is looking forward to next season.
"I hope to continue scoring goals for Newcastle next season, and I'm looking forward to playing in the Europa League," he told the Newcastle Chronicle.
Newcastle finished the season in fifth position.
