Barcelona and Real Madrid reportedly prepare to go head to head for Corinthians defender Leo Santos.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to go head to head for Corinthians defender Leo Santos.

Santos, 19, has recently broken into the first team at Corinthians and is highly regarded in Brazil.

The defender will see his current contract expire in September 2020, however, and according to Mundo Deportivo, both Barcelona and Madrid are pushing to sign the South American.

Santos is also a five-time Brazil Under-20 international, who has made 18 appearances for Corinthians this term.

Barcelona will look to continue their winning run in La Liga when they face Real Betis this weekend, while Madrid are in action away to Celta Vigo.
