Jose Mourinho will stay at Real Madrid in the summer, according to Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno.

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno expects Jose Mourinho to remain in Spain this summer amid speculation linking him with a return to the Premier League.

The Portuguese tactician has been mooted as a possible contender to take over at Tottenham Hotspur, should current Spurs boss Harry Redknapp leave to take the England vacany.

Mourinho has also been linked with a second spell at Chelsea, with whom he enjoyed great success between 2004 and 2007.

However Butrageuno is confident that 'The Special One' will honour his contract at the Santiago Bernabeau.

"Mourinho is under contract for two more years so there is no question for us. He started the project last season, this is his second season and the performance of the team, in my opinion, is very good," he told The Sun.

"There is no deviation within the club. We are still happy and very satisfied with him.

"He is one of the best coaches in the world and we are very excited about what the future has in store with us. We are very happy he is our coach."

Mourinho joined Madrid from Inter Milan in 2010.
