AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has hailed new signing Diego Lopez as "the strongest goalkeeper in Europe".

The Spaniard agreed terms with the Italian outfit on Saturday and is expected to officially sign a four-year contract at the start of next week.

"He's the strongest goalkeeper in Europe," Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 32-year-old had been Real Madrid's first-choice goalkeeper for the last two seasons.
