AC Milan head coach Filippo Inzaghi has hailed the imminent arrival of Diego Lopez at the San Siro.
Lopez, who has been Real Madrid's first-choice goalkeeper for the last two seasons, has reportedly agreed a four-year deal with AC Milan.
"The arrival of Diego Lopez is very important," Inzaghi told reporters.
"He's an experienced goalkeeper. He is going to improve our team."
Milan, who finished eighth in Serie A last season, kick off their campaign against Lazio at the Giuseppe Meazza on August 31.
