Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Villarreal vs. Real Madrid.

Reigning Spanish champions Real Madrid will be bidding to make it three straight La Liga victories when they face Villarreal on Saturday afternoon.

Los Blancos are currently second in the table, level on points (38) with leaders Barcelona, while Villarreal occupy seventh position, one point behind sixth-placed Real Betis ahead of the next set of fixtures.

We say: Villarreal 1-2 Real Madrid

Villarreal are more than capable of picking up a positive result here, and we are expecting Saturday's affair to be very close. Real Madrid cannot afford too many slip ups, though, due to Barcelona's form, and we are predicting a narrow success for Los Blancos in this contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Mallorca vs. Valladolid (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Both Mallorca and Real Valladolid will be bidding to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they lock horns at Visit Mallorca Stadium on Saturday evening.

The home side are currently 11th in the La Liga table, boasting 19 points from their opening 15 games of the season, while Real Valladolid are 15th, collecting 17 points from their 15 matches in 2022-23.

We say: Mallorca 1-1 Real Valladolid

Valladolid have won three of the last four meetings between these two sides in La Liga, but it is difficult to back the visitors to triumph here considering their away record this term. Mallorca have only won twice at home in the league this season, though, so we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Espanyol vs. Girona (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Espanyol will be looking to build on their result against Barcelona last weekend when they continue their La Liga campaign at home to Girona on Saturday night.

The home side are currently 16th in the table, boasting 13 points from their opening 15 matches, while a strong start to the campaign has left Girona up in 12th position on 17 points.

We say: Espanyol 1-1 Girona

Girona are unbeaten in their last five in Spain's top flight, and they will be the fresher of the two sides, having not been in Copa del Rey action during the week. Espanyol will have taken a lot of confidence from their draw with Barcelona, though, so we are predicting a draw on Saturday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
