Half-Time Report: Real Madrid ahead at Almeria

Cristiano Ronaldo scores in the third minute to give Real Madrid a 1-0 advantage at Almeria at half time.

Real Madrid are 1-0 up against Almeria away from home at half time in their La Liga clash.

Cristiano Ronaldo took just three minutes to open the scoring at Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos, turning in Isco's cross from close range.

The Portugal international forward came close to adding to his tally minutes later, but he saw his shot from distance saved by Suarez Esteban, who also kept out Karim Benzema's attempt soon after.

Carlo Ancelotti's side continued to press forward, with Pepe, Gareth Bale, Ronaldo and Benzema all trying their luck but in vain, while Suso, Rodri and Aleix Vidal had Almeria's best chances in the first half.
