Report: Marcelo to revert to midfield

A report claims that Marcelo will be deployed in central midfield for Real Madrid's Champions League Group B clash against Ludogorets Razgrad on Tuesday.

Real Madrid left-back Marcelo will reportedly be deployed in midfield for Tuesday's Champions League Group B clash against Ludogorets Razgrad.

The Spanish outfit are currently without the services of midfielders Luka Modric and James Rodriguez, while Sami Khedira is also struggling.

According to Marca, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti believes that Marcelo can fill a position further forward and will test the Brazilian's adaptability during the European fixture at the Bernabeu.

Marcelo has made 22 appearances for Los Blancos this season – the joint-most alongside Toni Kroos.
