Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has reiterated that midfielder Sami Khedira will not be sold next month.
Speculation is rife that the Germany international - whose contract expires in the summer - is keen on leaving the Spanish capital, with the club reportedly hoping to cash in before losing him on a Bosman.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been touted to make winter bids for the 27-year-old, but Ancelotti, who has been linked with a move for Cruzeiro starlet Lucas Silva, says that it will be a quiet January.
"We will not be making any signings in January," the Italian told reporters ahead of Real's La Liga clash with Celta Vigo this evening.
"I'm happy with my squad. No Real Madrid players will be sold in January. Sami Khedira has had bad luck with injuries, we've also recovered Jese Rodriguez [from a long lay-off]."
