Report: Chelsea join Lucas Silva race

A report claims that Chelsea have joined the race for Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva, who has also been strongly linked with Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old has been with Cruzeiro since 2007, making his first-team debut for the Brazilian club in 2012.

Since then, his performances have grown each season and it is understood that Real Madrid currently head the queue for the Brazil Under-20 international.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea have now firmly entered the race for the midfielder.

It is understood that Cruzeiro value Silva in the region of £6m.
