Nicky Clark strike sends Rangers through

Nicky Clark's goal gives Rangers a 1-0 win over Livingston to send them through to the final four of the Scottish Challenge Cup.

Rangers are through to the semi-finals of the Scottish Challenge Cup after a 1-0 win over Livingston at Ibrox this evening.

James Tavernier went close in the first half when his header was hooked clear off the line before Lee Wallace fired tamely at Marc McCallum in the Livingston goal.

Andy Halliday fired a 25-yard effort at McCallum before Nicky Law and Nathan Oduwa had chances.

After the break, Law spurned an excellent opening for the home side when he fired wide with the whole goal to aim at.

However, his blushes were spared when Nicky Clark struck a half-volley into the top corner to give Mark Warburton's men the victory.
