Former Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill has joined the backroom staff of Queens Park Rangers.
The 48-year-old has been handed the coaching role on a short-term basis to help QPR manager Harry Redknapp lead the side out of relegation.
"Steve Cotterill has just come in on a short-term deal to help us out," BBC Sport quotes Redknapp as saying. "He's bright and has got something to offer.
"He'll spend his time with the rest of the backroom staff. We need as many people helping us out as possible."
Cotterill, who has had managerial stints at Portsmouth and Stoke City, was sacked by Forest last July.
