Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Monaco.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti returns from suspension in time for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Monaco at the Stade Louis II.

The Italy international served a one-game ban in the win over Bordeaux for comments made towards the officials in defeat to Nantes last month, but he is primed to return to the first XI here.

Ander Herrera (eye) and Sergio Ramos (calf) also have chances of returning to the squad, but Angel Di Maria, Layvin Kurzawa and Juan Bernat are all occupying tables in the treatment room, while Keylor Navas and Lionel Messi have come down with the flu.

Mauricio Pochettino made the brave call to drop Gianluigi Donnarumma for Navas last weekend but is sure to bring the Italian back in as his counterpart recovers from illness.

Navas should form part of an untouched backline for PSG, while Verratti's return should see Georginio Wijnaldum drop out of the midfield, even though the Dutchman bagged an assist last weekend.

Leandro Paredes is unlikely to lose his place after finding the back of the net against Les Girondins, as Kylian Mbappe leads the charge after scoring his 15th Ligue 1 goal of the season in that triumph.

Neymar and Messi were both on the receiving end of jeers from the home crowd last weekend, and the latter could be replaced by Julian Draxler due to his absence.

PSG possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mendes; Paredes, Pereira, Verratti; Draxler, Mbappe, Neymar
