Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Auxerre.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier will have to cope without the banned Achraf Hakimi for Sunday's Ligue 1 sojourn to Auxerre, which could prove to be the match that confirms their status as champions.

Having only just returned from suspension in last weekend's 5-0 thrashing of AC Ajaccio, the Moroccan right-back was sent off again for a fracas with Thomas Mangani and will now sit on the naughty step for another two games.

All of Neymar (ankle), Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles), Nuno Mendes (hamstring) and Nordi Mukiele (thigh) are also on the holders' absentee list, while Timothee Pembele's knee injury could render him unavailable too.

With no Hakimi, Mukiele and potentially no Pembele, Galtier will once again be working without a recognised right-sided defender, so Warren Zaire-Emery might be deployed as an emergency option.

No other surprises should be sprung defensively, as Danilo Pereira, Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos protect Gianluigi Donnarumma, while Juan Bernat deputises for Mendes on the left.

Having opened the scoring in style last weekend, Fabian Ruiz should get the nod to partner Marco Verratti in what could be a midfield two, as Renato Sanches, Carlos Soler and Vitinha wait in the wings. Verratti did take a blow to the knee recently, but Galtier expects him to shake off the issue in time for the weekend.

A two-man midfield would allow Hugo Ekitike to earn another deserved start up front, as the Reims loanee continues in between Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi, whose club suspension was cut short to allow him to face Ajaccio.

Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Pereira, Marquinhos, Ramos; Zaire-Emery, Ruiz, Verratti, Bernat; Messi, Ekitike, Mbappe
