The hosts were always in control at Stadion Narodowy in Warszawa and broke ahead after 21 minutes through a Robert Lewandowski penalty.
Seven minutes later Lukasz Piszczek made it 2-0 to Poland, before Lewandowski scored his second goal of the evening from the penalty spot five minutes into the second half.
Lukasz Teodorczyk etched his name on the scoresheet for the home team just after the hour mark, and Jakub Kosecki wrapped up the victory in the first minute of injury time with his side's fifth goal.
